Independent eyes, trusted reports
Audit & Assurance
Financial-statement audits, performance reviews and internal-controls work that stand up to lenders, donors and boards.
When a bank, a donor or a board needs assurance, the report has to be credible and the process has to be clean. Our audit work pairs international standards with a real understanding of how business is done in Timor-Leste.
What you get
- Reports stakeholders trust at first read
- Control gaps surfaced before they cost you
- A smoother audit, year after year
What this covers
Financial statement audits
Independent audits of your accounts to the standard your lenders, investors and regulators expect.
Performance audits
A hard look at whether programmes and spending are delivering the results they promised, valuable for donor-funded work.
Internal controls review
We map where money and approvals flow, find the weak points and recommend fixes that fit a lean team.
Agreed-upon procedures
Targeted checks on the specific numbers or processes a stakeholder wants verified, scoped precisely to the question.
What you can expect
Concrete deliverables, not vague promises. Here is what lands on your side.
- An independent audit opinion to the standard your stakeholders expect
- A management letter that flags control gaps and how to close them
- Reporting that satisfies donors, lenders and boards
- A cleaner, better-prepared audit each year
In practice
Work we have done in this area
One of the largest donors operating in Timor-Leste engaged us to audit eighteen of its local partner organisations. We applied a single, donor-grade standard across all eighteen, giving the funder the assurance it needed and giving each partner an honest, useful read of its own finances. Holding that many audits to one consistent standard is precisely the kind of work we are built for.
We were appointed to audit one of the country's most important public bodies in the telecommunications sector. An institution of that significance demands both rigour and discretion in equal measure. We delivered a clean, defensible audit that stakeholders could stand behind, on infrastructure that matters to the connectivity of the whole nation.

What kinds of audit do you perform?
Financial-statement audits, performance audits, internal-controls reviews and targeted agreed-upon-procedures engagements, scoped to what your stakeholders actually need.
What should we prepare?
We send a clear request list up front and help you get ready, so the audit is smoother and there are no surprises. Good books through the year make this light.
Can you satisfy our donor or lender requirements?
Yes. We work to international standards and understand donor and lender expectations, so the report holds up to scrutiny the first time.
Are you independent?
Audit work is performed independently of the bookkeeping decisions being examined, which is what makes the opinion worth anything.
