Pinnacle Accountants & Business Advisors

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, using, or communicating with Pinnacle Accountants & Business Advisors ("Pinnacle", "we", "our", or "us"), including through our website, WhatsApp Business account, email, telephone, or any other communication channels, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Services

Pinnacle provides professional services including but not limited to:

  • Accounting and bookkeeping services

  • Audit and assurance services

  • Tax compliance and advisory services

  • Payroll processing services

  • Corporate secretarial services

  • Business advisory and consulting services

  • Company registration and compliance services

  • Client support through digital communication platforms including WhatsApp Business

All services are subject to separate engagement agreements where applicable.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information;

  • Provide documents and information in a timely manner;

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials where applicable;

  • Ensure that information provided does not violate any law or third-party rights;

  • Cooperate reasonably with requests necessary for service delivery.

You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information supplied to us.

4. WhatsApp Business Communications

By communicating with Pinnacle through WhatsApp Business, you consent to receiving communications relating to:

  • Service enquiries

  • Project updates

  • Tax and compliance reminders

  • Requests for information

  • Client support communications

  • Administrative notifications

You may stop communicating with us via WhatsApp at any time.

WhatsApp messages should not be considered a substitute for formal engagement letters, contracts, or legally required documentation.

5. Professional Advice

Information provided through our website, WhatsApp, email, or other communication channels is for general informational purposes unless provided pursuant to a specific professional engagement.

No information should be relied upon as professional accounting, tax, audit, legal, or financial advice without a formal engagement and review of your specific circumstances.

6. Fees and Payments

Fees for services will be communicated through quotations, engagement letters, invoices, or separate agreements.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Fees are payable according to invoice terms;

  • Late payments may result in suspension of services;

  • Government fees, filing fees, and third-party charges are separate from professional fees.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, templates, reports, methodologies, and documents created by Pinnacle remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients may use reports and deliverables solely for their intended business purpose.

8. Confidentiality

We will take reasonable steps to maintain the confidentiality of client information, subject to:

  • Legal and regulatory obligations;

  • Court orders;

  • Professional standards;

  • Client authorization.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that information transmitted electronically is sent securely.

9. Third-Party Services

Our services may integrate with third-party providers, including:

  • WhatsApp Business Platform

  • Meta Platforms, Inc.

  • OpenAI

  • Accounting software providers

  • Banking institutions

  • Government systems and portals

We are not responsible for interruptions, errors, security incidents, or failures caused by third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Pinnacle shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages;

  • Pinnacle shall not be liable for losses resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by clients;

  • Pinnacle shall not be liable for service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of:

  • Our website;

  • WhatsApp communications;

  • Email systems;

  • Online platforms.

Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate services where:

  • Applicable laws or regulations require us to do so;

  • Fees remain unpaid;

  • Information provided is misleading or inaccurate;

  • Continued service would create legal, ethical, or professional risks.

Clients may discontinue use of our services at any time, subject to any contractual obligations.

13. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, and protected.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Timor-Leste.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted on our website and become effective upon publication.
